| Will the US get a decent publicity campaign for her solo work? I love K's Choice, but it really bites that it doesn't get any airplay. Hearing that voice always brightens my day, and it would be great if I wasn't the only person in the US who gets it! |

i would imagine that sarah's publicist would focus on the states a bit more during this new solo career.
as for US radio stations, i'm learning that they can be a tough nut to crack. a lot of my musician clients say that it's becoming more difficult to find independent stations that will play their material. (apparently a fat, wealthy corporation, Clearchannel, bought up a lot of stations and runs essentially the same batch of playlists/clients throughout all of them.) my guess is sarah's best bet will be with college stations and our somewhat endangered independent stations that remain. hmm, which seems like a good topic to post in the forum: asking people to post info on their local indie radio stations for sarah's management to check out... wouldn't hurt to add a list. |

we could always start an unofficial street team when the album is released and call up all our local stations that might play it. something i highly doubt sarah or her label would mind
