Is this a Kim only zone
well since you were suggesting music i figured i'd give you a little heads up about a band called Some Girls. now i probably know far too much about a band that released their first album a few weeks ago but i have a good excuse. I've been listening to the lead singer of the band since i was 9 (yes i was actually a fairly cool 9 year old ). Anyway, yeah this band is the brain child of Juliana Hatfield rock goddess that she is and Freda Love (a great chick drummer btw kim, you'll like her stuff). Now if you're a music loving dork like myself and happen to love all things alt-rock, specially if its girls singing or playin, then you might remember the Blake Babies from the early 90's; a band Juliana and Freda formed along with john strohm. Well Juliana and Freda teamed up again after a blake reunion in 2000 and recruited the help of Heidi Gluck of the pieces (which is also the band of Evan Dando from the Lemonheads [another Juliana band]).
Backstory aside the music is really really good. Three girls who are all amazingly talented muscians coming together for one creative outburst that ranks high up on my list of all time favorite albums.
The album is called Feel It, and the band is Some Girls. Just thought i'd spread the word
